LAM - Lisse (Holland)

LAM – Lisser Art Musuem – is a daylight museum, not very big, has three floors and opened in 2018. Its situation is marvellous, in the Keukenhof Estate (famous for the Keukenhof tulip and other flowers exhibitions during the spring Inside daylight flows in everywhere. It is not well-known, which is a pity because a visit to the place is  very enjoyable, both inside and outside.

The museum was designed by KVDK Architects for the foundation of a supermarket concern. The museum has a very interesting collection of ‘food art’ The largest in the country); art that in one way or the other has to do with food (and supermarkets). The most impressive is a huge  white ceramic installation showing what one man ate and drank in a single year.

LAM’s website has some nice drone footage – see www.lammuseum.nl/.
